Minhwa Camellia Petal Series
A camellia, blooming from the hands of artist Kyungran Yeo. Camellia flowers and green leaves rendered in deep cobalt blue. The Camellia Petal series captures the camellia, the flower that blooms most resolutely at winter's end, and carries it onto each piece. Its hand-painting pairs beautifully with the quiet, refined color of the ceramic, and it complements every dish it holds.
Camellia Petal Plate
Plate L (Ø6.7" × H1.4") A versatile plate for serving and sharing. Generous enough to plate a variety of dishes for one, or to set out a main course, bread and cheese, or a full single-person meal. Two camellias flow across the surface and are slowly revealed as you clear your plate, making the act of emptying it its own quiet pleasure.
Plate M (Ø5.5" × H1.2") The most versatile everyday size. Just right for a simple piece of bread, a side dish, a bit of banchan, or a small dessert. A single camellia and its leaves rest within restrained negative space, never competing with whatever you serve.
Plate S (Ø3.9" × H1.0") A small plate for sharing, dessert, or tea-time bites. A single camellia drawn in close-up on its compact surface, so even one small treat looks like a picture.
Camellia Petal Bowl
Bowl L (Ø5.5" × H2.6") A main bowl for soups, noodles, salads, and rice bowls alike. Camellias wrap around both the inside and outside, so the flowers meet your fingertips as you cradle it in both hands.
Bowl S (Ø4.5" × H2.6") A rice bowl that holds it all, from soup to yogurt to ice cream. Its gently flared lines make it easy to hold, and set side by side, a pair brings quiet order to the table.
Camellia Petal Set (5 pieces)
A whole bouquet of camellias, all at once. A five-piece set of two bowls (L and S) and three plates (L, M, and S). A complete set ready for everything from a meal for one to hosting guests. Save 10% when you buy the set.
Includes: Bowl L + Bowl S + Plate L + Plate M + Plate S
Artist — Kyungran Yeo
Kyungran Yeo is a Korean ceramic artist whose work is rooted in a deep consideration of what it means for an object to be truly useful. Her handmade tableware finds a natural, quiet harmony with whatever it holds, grounded in tradition, made for everyday life.
The Minhwa Collection: Korean Folk Art-Inspired Ceramic Tableware
Minhwa is Korea's traditional folk art. Kyungran's Minhwa Collection brings together light gray clay, matte glaze, and hand-drawn patterns. The palette is restrained, but the feeling is warm. Each design draws from Korea's beloved folk art tradition, reinterpreted as ceramic tableware for the modern table.
Camellias, flowers that bloom through the cold, carry the meaning of devotion and grace. Peonies speak of abundance and good fortune. Together, they turn an ordinary table into something worth slowing down for. Durable enough for everyday use, and beautiful enough that you'll always notice.
Care & Use
Surface Appearance: Small cracks may appear on the glaze over time due to its unique composition. This is a natural characteristic of handcrafted ceramic ware, not a sign of damage.
Cleaning: Dishwasher safe. For best results, hand wash with a soft cloth.
Usage: Microwave safe. Not suitable for oven use.
Handcrafted Variations: Each piece is made by hand, so slight differences in shape and color are to be expected, making every piece its own.
