Minhwa is Korea's traditional folk painting — a tradition rich with tigers, magpies, peonies, and rabbits, each carrying centuries of meaning. Fortune, joy, prosperity, protection. Symbols that were never meant for museums, but for the walls and tables of everyday life.

Kyungran Yeo takes these motifs and brings them into her own artistic language. Each pattern is hand-painted with meticulous care onto light gray clay with a matte glaze — restrained in palette, warm in feeling. Her digital works offer another dimension of the same practice, a timeless encounter with beauty and symbolism in a contemporary form.
