Whispering Blooms

Shaped by Hand, Painted with Blessings

Whispering Blooms is born from a collaboration between two artists. Heehyun Park shapes each piece by hand, and Juyoung Kim paints delicate florals across its surface. One vessel holds the layered time of two makers.

The technique is buncheong, a traditional Korean method that coats the clay in liquid white slip instead of glaze, leaving a surface as soft as early morning mist. The brushwork is restrained, and each floral motif carries a quiet wish of blessing.

Every painting begins with the artist's inspiration that day, so even pieces of the same form are one of a kind.
